Melanie Weeks is a registered Senior Occupational Therapist, who draws on both her clinical experience and lived experience of invisible illnesses to inform her work.
Melanie graduated with Honours from La Trobe University in 1998. She has jointly presented at both national and international Occupational Therapy conferences. Melanie has experience working in a broad range of settings, including private practice, community mental health, and community support services.
Melanie is an accredited Functional Independence Measure (FIM) Clinician, and has undertaken additional training in cognitive and sensory profile assessments. Melanie is an accredited SWEP Clinician, allowing her to prescribe assistive technology and minor home modifications through the Victorian Aids and Equipment Program.
Melanie is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia, a member of the Occupational Therapy Society for Invisible Disabilities (OTSi), and regularly participates in peer to peer educational groups for allied health professionals working with ME/CFS.
